The object I chose is a picture of my great grandma Briant that is leaning on a fence with a cowboy hat and cowboy pants. The fence seemed old with a old rusted bucket hanging off of one of the posts to the left of my Great Grandma. She has curly short brown hair in a slightly brown and white picture. The frame is lined in a tan wood. The way she is smiling seems she might be uncomfortable. The sunlight might have made her uncomfortable from all of the heat and the ability to squint when the sun hits her eyes. When I asked my mother about this object she told me that my Great Grandma's date took her to a ranch not far from her home. My mother also told me that my Great Grandma's parents were pioneers and taught her how to horse back ride when she was little. Telling from the way she is dressed in the picture, she is probably at the ranch to horseback ride. Her smile isn't quite dazzling but slightly a frown because of the way she squints. Her stance is stand on her left leg while the right leg is bent with her right arm leaning on the fence and her other arm at her side.
Stress is hard and can create an uncomfortable workspace for other people. People are uncomfortable when they deal with stress. Stress is unhealthy for your brain and body. As long as people stay hopeful they can stay comfortable. Helplessness is the opposite of hopefulness.
The way I connect with this is I feel lonely all the time just like he did and I read all the time just like he did. What does crook mean? I predict that he teaches other kids that it is best to keep some things a secret to keep your best of times still the best. The author is trying to say that high school is the best of times and it can be ruined by revealing things that should be kept a secret. It is telling me to keep my secrets a secret until it is the right time only if it is a good secret to tell. I don't think that high school will be the "Best of Times" because high school involves work and also bullying. When I go to school I become tired and my brained becomes overloaded.
